You may have seen him on LinkedIn…

I’ve been using this fella for the LinkedIn editions of my Boost and Nudge.

He looks a bit like me, right!?

Well, at least he’s bald, has a pair of thick eyebrows, and looks friendly.

Here’s how I created him in 3 simple steps*:

  1. I’ve used the FLUX model on fal.ai to create a ‘simple cartoon style avatar’ that looks a little bit like me.
  2. I then uploaded the generated image to Hailuo AI image to video generator and created short video clips for different movements and expressions.

Now, I could have asked FLUX to develop these, but that would have gotten me all kinds of different looking avatars. Not what I was looking for.

So, instead, I created short video clips to keep the looks of my avatar consistent.

Please note: You may want to create an extra Gmail address for Hailuo (owned by MiniMax) as this tool can only be accessed through Gmail.
  3. Finally, I uploaded the videos to Ezgif video to PNG converter to extract the images I wanted and did a few touch ups in Photoshop.

I think this is pretty cool. As it allows you to create avatars that can do anything you like and use them in any way you want.

Think: your website, explainer videos, brochures, newsletters, you name it.

Hope this helps!
